Befesa organizes a dinner in the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao, to celebrate the inauguration of the Exhibition entitled "From Herrera to Velázquez. Early naturalism in Seville"

On last March 20, the Exhibition entitled "From Herrera to Velázquez. Early naturalism in Seville" was inaugurated in the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao. The ceremony was presided over by the mayor of Bilbao and director of the Museum, Mr. Iñaki Azkuna. This exhibition, organized by the Focus-Abengoa Foundation in co-production with the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao, has been on view in the Foundation's headquarters, Hospital de los Venerables, in Seville, from November 29, and was viewed by a record number of visitors, some 70,000, in the Foundation's exhibition history. It is can on exhibition in Bilbao, where it can be viewed until June 18.

Following the exhibition inauguration ceremony, Befesa gave a dinner in the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao which was attended by representatives from the company in the Basque Country and authorities from the world of culture and the environment, of note among whom were the vice-councilor for culture, tourism and sport, Gurutz Larrañaga Zubizarreta and the director for environmental planning, assessment and control, Alberto Jimenez Aberasteuri Corta.

The dinner was also attended, as guests of Befesa, by some representatives of museums and private collections that have lent their paintings for the exhibition, and by the presidents of the Focus-Abengoa Foundation, Felipe and Javier Benjumea.

The exhibition also provided Befesa with the opportunity to strengthen its relationships with the Basque Country's most important and influential businessmen, as well as its institutional relationships, given its consolidated implantation in the Basque industrial sector.
