New structure of Befesa Gestión de Residuos Industriales

Further to the information published on January 10 regarding the changes that have occurred as a result of the integration of the activities of Befesa Gestión de Residuos Industriales and Befesa Tratamientos y Limpiezas Industriales, and the creation of two new General Manager posts:

Business General Manager (Santiago Ortiz)

Planning and Development General Manager (Alfredo Velasco)

we here-below describe the organization chart of the Business Area.

This area will be responsible for managing the activity itself, the day-to-day running of the business of the new company resulting from the merger, and it will comprise the following units:

Hazardous Industrial Wastes Commercial Management, which will continue to be managed by Antonio Rodriguez Mendiola and will be responsible for the global capturing of hazardous wastes.

Industrial Management, where Leopoldo Sanchez del Rio will be in charge and its mission will be to continue to manage the operation of all the company's hazardous waste treatment production plants.

Non-Hazardous Waste Management, where Álvaro de Rojas will be in charge as of from now. It is a newly created Unit and its mission is to consolidate the non-hazardous waste business that has already been initiated in Bgri.

Industrial Cleaning Management, where all Btli's current treatment and cleaning activities will continue to be carried out and where Sergio Nusimovich will continue to be in charge.

Economic-Financial Management. This Department will take over the control of the activities in this line that were being carried out separately by each one of the former companies, and it will also incorporate the Purchasing and Logistics Department. It will be managed by Iñigo Molina and Marta Deprit will be assistant manager.

The aim with this new organization structure is to exploit the synergies that exist between both activities while consolidating a structure that enables us to maintain our leading position in the industrial services market.
